TRUCK DRIVER/LABORER - - TWP. OF HAMILTON (ATLANTIC) The Twp. of Hamilton (Atlantic County) is seeking a Full-time Truck Driver/Laborer with professional carpentry skills preferred. This is a 40 hour per week, non-exempt, Union classified position in the Public Works Department. Applicants must have the ability to perform manual labor for extended period of time in varying weather conditions. Skill in the safe operation of various hand tools and lawn equipment is essential. MUST be willing to obtain valid NJ Driver’s License with a CDL B endorsement. Successful applicant must pass background check and pre-employment physical/drug screen. Salary based on Collective Bargaining Agreement, qualifications, and prior experience. Excellent benefit package.

Maintenance / Electrician - - TWP. OF HAMILTON (ATLANTIC) The Twp. of Hamilton (Atlantic County) is seeking a Full-time Maintenance/Electrician.    This is a 40 hour per week, non-exempt, Union classified position in the Public Works Department.  Applicants must have the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods in varying weather conditions.  Six years of progressively responsible electrical experience: or completion of a four-year federally approved technical program in electrical repair and maintenance required. Will consider an equivalent combination of experience and education.  Successful applicants must pass background check and pre-employment physical/drug screen. Salary based on Collective Bargaining Agreement, qualifications, and prior experience.  Excellent benefit package.

Assistant Tax Assessor- Township of Hamilton (Atlantic)

The Township of Hamilton (Atlantic) is seeking a qualified and motivated Assistant Tax Assessor to support the day-to-day operations of the Tax Assessor’s office.  The Assistant Tax Assessor will assist in ensuring fair and equitable assessment of all real property within the municipality in accordance with New Jersey statutes, rules and regulations. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in assessing or appraising residential, commercial, or industrial real property as well as an understanding of New Jersey property tax laws, regulations and assessment practices.  Salary range $45,000 to $60,000.

Part Time Police Communications

Part Time Police Communications positions available in the Township of Hamilton Police Department. Applicant must pass a full police background investigation, medical and drug screening prior to hiring. EMD, 911 certification and Emergency Services experience preferred, but not required.
