Cove Beach Staff 2026 Season 

June 20, 2026 – September 7, 2026 

 Hours of operation:  Thursday – Monday, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. 

• Day Manager (current CPR, Community First Aid, Lifeguard & Waterfront Safety Cert. open water exp. preferred.) 

• Beach Badge Checkers (must have current CPR Cert.) 

• Lifeguards (current CPR, Community First Aid, Lifeguard & Waterfront Safety Cert. and must be 16 years of age.)  

Salaries are commensurate with experience and Township Ordinance.

TRUCK DRIVER/LABORER - - TWP. OF HAMILTON (ATLANTIC) The Twp. of Hamilton (Atlantic County) is seeking a Full-time Truck Driver/Laborer with professional carpentry skills preferred. This is a 40 hour per week, non-exempt, Union classified position in the Public Works Department. Applicants must have the ability to perform manual labor for extended period of time in varying weather conditions. Skill in the safe operation of various hand tools and lawn equipment is essential. MUST be willing to obtain valid NJ Driver’s License with a CDL B endorsement. Successful applicant must pass background check and pre-employment physical/drug screen. Salary based on Collective Bargaining Agreement, qualifications, and prior experience. Excellent benefit package.

Maintenance / Electrician - - TWP. OF HAMILTON (ATLANTIC) The Twp. of Hamilton (Atlantic County) is seeking a Full-time Maintenance/Electrician.    This is a 40 hour per week, non-exempt, Union classified position in the Public Works Department.  Applicants must have the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods in varying weather conditions.  Six years of progressively responsible electrical experience: or completion of a four-year federally approved technical program in electrical repair and maintenance required. Will consider an equivalent combination of experience and education.  Successful applicants must pass background check and pre-employment physical/drug screen. Salary based on Collective Bargaining Agreement, qualifications, and prior experience.  Excellent benefit package.

Part Time Police Communications

Part Time Police Communications positions available in the Township of Hamilton Police Department. Applicant must pass a full police background investigation, medical and drug screening prior to hiring. EMD, 911 certification and Emergency Services experience preferred, but not required.
